Chloe asked to have her own room set up in advance of starting middle school and so we told the kids if they wanted to have their own rooms, they have to help with the clean up, prep and setup. They definitely were a big help!

Despite the most historically unorganized July 4th in the neighborhood thanks to local politics of our mayor, we were undeterred in our efforts to enjoy our holiday.

Bronx Zoo: Part 2
We returned to the Bronx Zoo to see what we didn’t get to from our last visit. What an amazing park to have so close to us! Thank you kids for coming with me!
The kids were perhaps a little old for the Dinosaur Safari but it was still fun to see the dinosaur models move and come to life with sounds. Made us want to go home and watch Jurassic park.
