July with the kids
Check out Chloe using chopsticks without the tops secured together! I think she is ready for the real thing!
Selfies with the kids… sigh… still don’t look anything like me…

Impromptu visit from Emilie and Alex to watch the France semifinal game! I think we took 50 pictures and honestly someone was moving or blinking in each one! But such a pleasure to have more of the family together!

The kids are such great helpers, picking thyme and brussel sprouts.

Our annual trip out to Long Island to visit Auntie Tina and Uncle David was another hit for the kids! Thank you for the most amazing day ever!! XOXO
Just one year later, Chloe is so fearless in the water – swimming by herself with just her floaties on and jumping off the diving board by herself! Sebastien was still a bit hesitant at first but we swam a little together and he played on the edge by himself. Hopefully he’ll be just as fearless next year!

This year, July 4th was too hot to barbeque. So we spent the day in the water or in the house, hiding from the heat. Even the plants needed extra water, so the kids helped!

Where has June gone? The kids are busy entertaining themselves as usual. Here are some pics and videos.
The kids love spending time with Grandma… even if it’s reading in the bathroom, lol.

And look at Chloe writing her name ALL BY HERSELF!!!

Kids at bedtime, being nice for once!

Allez les blues! We are champions!
More pictures of the kids enjoying the start of summer… more to come.

We finally decided to transition the kids from their toddler beds to twin bunk beds. During the transition, we had the toddler beds next to each other as we were building the bunk bed and waiting for the mattresses. I was able to snap some pictures of them sleeping. These kids – every night I tell them to stay under the blanket and not 10 minutes after they’ve fallen asleep when I check on them do I find them sans blankets.

Chloe officially finished her spring gymnastics semester at the start of June. The teachers organized the final day of classes to be a “recital” of sorts so the parents could see individual performances. It was nice to get a video of just Chloe for once.
Chloe will continue gymnastics through the summer to help with her transition to pre-k and Sebastien will join her for play time at the gym so I’m sure we’ll have more photos and videos to come.
