We got all cleaned up for a wedding dinner party at a Chinese restaurant. Not too shabby lol.

Snow from the last snowfall in our backyard!

I was trying to explain what happened in Hiroshima in advance of our trip to Japan and when I explained the Children’s Peace Memorial and the story of Sakura and her 1000 paper cranes, the children decided that we were making 1000 paper cranes to take with us when we visit the memorial in April.

Oh boy, we got 15 inches of snow!! Thanks to the kids for lending a hand and staying overnight with grandma and grandpa to help with all the shoveling!

Chloe got chosen for an improv scene… too funny!

The brutal cold of this January has given us the perfect opportunity to practice our mahjong!

We signed Sebastien up for pickleball after school. I am SO JEALOUS!!!

Since it is so cold outside and we have been staying mostly indoors, today’s activity is: kitchen tile grout cleaning!!

The kids were so helpful and did an amazing job. We were done in 2 hours instead of entire better half of a day. Bravo kids! And hoping to make this an annual event during winter break!
