If the kids had their way, they would take the subway every day. They love taking the train, especially near Grandma and Grandpa where the train runs above ground and they can see the houses and cars below them.

And after the train, they would also like to take the ferry since Grandpa introduced them to the free Staten Island ferry where they get to see the Statue of Liberty.

And let’s not forget story time with Grandpa. He is the best at reading stories… now if only we could get him to translate it in French as well…

I don’t know where Chloe picked up this song but she sings it with such confidence that it always makes me laugh. I don’t think Chloe yet understands what her “inside” voice is or how to lower her voice… she must have gotten it from Grandma… ha ha!

And of course Sebastien has to copy EVERYTHING that Chloe does. So she’s stopping in every doorstep to sing “Singing in the Rain” and he’s going to copy her. Try to catch his little shoulder dance that he does on the first doorstep, it’s so funny!

We took the kids one early morning to their first visit to Coney Island Beach (well any beach actually). Chloe absolutely loved it, running into the water with Daddy and splashing around. The kiddies love spending time with their grandparents. We are so lucky to have them so close and so involved with raising the kids. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Nothing special, just our normal post shower bed time ritual of watching sing-a-longs in Mommy’s bed. And I wanted to snap some selfies with my awesome kiddies. I love them so much.

Our normal trip to the grocery store but Daddy took the car and we took the F train and met Daddy there. The kids love the subway.

Yay for (unofficial) summer weather! The kids are loving going out to the park every day with Daddy. And look at Sebi – monkey see, monkey do – everywhere Chloe goes, Sebi goes – everything Chloe does, Sebi does.

And since sitting him that one time on a bench rail to take a picture, now that’s Sebastien’s new way of sitting on park benches. I love how Chloe has Sebastien in a head lock and she’s totally squeezing him super hard. Ah, sibling love.

And somehow Chloe found a friend to push her on the swing…

Daddy took this super cute picture at Carroll Gardens park where the kids like to hide inside the tree trunk.

Look at Sebastien go – totally fearless of heights. I’m more scared than he is!

Sebastien, Chloe and I taking the NYC subway for fun to go grocery shopping. They like when the train is above ground where they can see the houses and cars from above so I think we’re going to make this a regular to-do on the weekends since they love the trains.

The past two weeks have brought some interesting weather with a few random days of VERY HOT and then a few days of VERY COLD. So you’ll see a mix of spring jackets, sweaters and tank tops. But it’s almost summer and the kids are excited to be going out again every day. (And I swear, when I bought those matching hats, I had NO IDEA we have matching coats, I SWEAR – what a coincidence!)

Yesterday was an excellent day. We walked from the house down to the Brooklyn Bridge for pizza (yes, the kids walked ALL THE WAY) and then we walked back. Needless to say, I didn’t have to tell anyone to go to bed as they were totally zonked out when the lights were turned off. Lots of great pictures – Chloe & Sebastien, Mommy and Daddy love you SO MUCH!

One of the kid’s favorite videos to watch is “The King and I”. At first it was just the dancing part they used to imitate but it seems Chloe is starting to be able to sign the majority of the chorus. So she practices singing it out loud… and off key… A LOT. And her english is terrible.
