Virginia Visit (Part II)

Virginia Visit (Part II)

During our visit to Virginia, we stayed at a Marriott hotel (of course lol) with a pool. The kids love the pool though still relying on their floaties… in due time for these city kids…

The kids had a blast at Michelle’s house… she should really call it Michelle’s House of Fun… I wish we had more time to stay and they weren’t so far… will have to work out a better schedule for next time. Thanks for letting us visit for a quick hello!

Someone tell me why Sebastien doesn’t use his pillow…

Virginia Visit (Part I)

Our first long car ride with the kids and they did great! They had a blast with Nathaniel, Alyssa and adorable Miriam. Miriam was a hit with everyone, what a CUTIE! Thanks to Jon and Stephanie for letting us spend a few days – I wish we were closer so we could get the kids together more often!! XO

Strawberry Picking in CT

Strawberry Picking in CT

An excellent weekend with Great Uncle Savio in Connecticut, thank you!

(Even if we started off with horrendous traffic… total trip time 5+ hours… also because Sebastien puked ALL OVER HIMSELF strapped in his car seat… a delightful peach color from the dulce de leche ice cream he ate before we left… I will just always remember him standing in his tighty whities on Ditmars Boulevard while Daddy hoses his clothes out and Mommy wipes OUT the car seat… those are the memories you remember…)

Chloe’s Bug Book Celebration

Chloe’s Bug Book Celebration

First grade celebrated the end of their school year by sharing their bug books. Chloe had told me in advance to “be ready to be all warm and tingly all over” and BOY WAS I ABSOLUTELY SURPRISED! Chloe, what an amazing job you did – your handwriting is absolutely GORGEOUS – so much time and effort researching all these facts – I love your dedication to your family (LOVE YOU) as well as your About the Author. We are SUPER proud of you and all the hard work you’ve put into first grade!

Kids Artwork

Kids Artwork

It’s been a very busy school year remotely and my piano has become the unofficial art repository of all kids artwork. So on this particularly rainy Sunday, I’ve decided it’s time to clear it out but of course I would hate to just throw these away… so here you go!

American Museum of Natural History

American Museum of Natural History

Our first visit to the American Museum of Natural History with the kids. THEY LOVED IT! And since we’re members for a year, we’ll be going back a few times. They got to see the dinosaur exhibits as well as the mammal displays and we watched Worlds Beyond Earth in the planetarium.
