As a surprise to the kids, we booked tickets to see Phantom of the Opera. The kids saw it in New York City before the official show closed and they know all the songs.

We allowed the kids to choose their first meal in London and what do they ask for? Asian noodles!! I love my kids!
And every 10,000 steps, we stop for gelato!! That’s the vacation rule!

After our morning river cruise, we walked through the designated tattoo alley known as Leake Street. What a unique and creative venue!!

Sebastien spotted this one ~ it’s entirely made out of string!!!! AMAZING!!!

I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the AMAZING hotel we stayed at in London. Hands down the St. Ermin’s Hotel was the most luxurious hotel we have ever stayed in and the staff made us feel like we were right at home. The kids have already asked when we are going back!

This was a picture we took in Sauveterre five years ago when we visited… it was a random picture we took down a street from the restaurant we were having lunch and it came out spectacularly and has been a favorite of mine, and printed in my office.

So of course I could not help myself and we had to retake the picture this year, just to compare! Et voila!
