Our new daily routine with Chloe generally involves going to the park so she can burn some energy. Here are some recent photos of her outdoor adventures.

And Chloe have fun running around the mirror “artwork” in Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was sort of like the mirrors in the carnival fun houses.

Wishing all the dad’s out there a very happy Father’s day, especially this daddy of five!!

I don’t know if it’s because I’m paying attention this time around or perhaps it’s because I know what to look for, but it seems that Sebastien is doing all sorts of random things much earlier than Chloe was. For instance, I don’t remember Chloe opening her hands until around 3 months because I remember how smelly and sweaty her palms were; Sebastien has his hands open already at six weeks and even opens them when I bathe him which makes cleaning his palms so much easier! And I thought Chloe had great neck strength early on – this little guy absolutely refuses to put his head down when you burp him on your shoulder. He is too curious and wants to look at everything. He even sits in the MegaSeat already by himself!

So of course we took advantage of this and put big sister Chloe behind him for their first picture together!!! =0)

Chloe has so much energy nowadays that it’s great that the weather is so nice and we can take her outside so she can burn some of that energy. Here are some outdoor pictures courtesy of Daddy.

Chloe is also experimenting in the playground, although she’s still a bit small for some of the activities. She absolutely does love the slide though. I think we love what the plastic slide does to her fluffy hair, check it out!

Probably my favorite outfit of Chloe’s lately… such cute short shorts (thanks GoMa Melanie)… and of course the shirt speaks for itself…

Sebastien went for his one month check up today and our little fatty gained 3 pounds over the last month. Just think about that for a second… if he kept that up (which he won’t), he’d be 36 pounds by the end of the year! Crazy. So big and so alert. Making lots of eye contact and giving random smiles that just warm my heart. It’s going by too fast!

Otherwise life continues and the days just fade into each other. We are keeping very busy around the house with both Chloe and Sebastien. Here are some pictures lately…

Randomly Laurent took a picture with Sebastien on my shoulder and it reminded me of a picture we had taken in a similar position when Chloe was first born. Here’s the side by side comparison – do they look alike? Can you tell who is who? =0)

Chloe’s first taste of Daddy’s homemade whip cream. I think she likes it. I’m surprised there’s not more of it on her face actually!

Chloe being super (not) helpful around the house, particularly when it comes time to do laundry…

I didn’t realize it but since we’re no longer going for monthly checkups for Chloe, I haven’t really paid attention to her height. She is SO TALL! 16 months and without standing on her toes, she can reach the door locks! Do you believe that one day she locked Laurent out of the house? Lucky one of us was still inside!

And before the comments even start, yes, I put Chloe in a dress and yes, it’s a shade of heinous pink. But she’s my daughter and it’s summer time so there’s going to be some cutesy girlie pictures. Get over it. I’m over it. And you know, she’s just so DARN CUTE!

And just like that, it’s been a month since Sebastien joined our little family. Thanks to Uncle Ignatius for all the wonderful pictures he took and shared (since Mommy was totally preoccupied and took zero pictures) as well as Melanie, Queenie and Uncle Savio!
