Happy Mother’s Day
Wishing all the mom’s out there a happy Mother’s Day. For my first mother’s day, we hosted at Chez Mui-Richard with mom, dad, Queenie, Angie, Uncle Savio and Judy, and Domi and Claude. Lunch was pizza made on our brand new pizza steel from Modernist Cuisine, thanks to the advice of our friends Adam and Lea Ann (so awesome we LOVE it). Dinner was on the grill – shrimp, squid, corn, chicken wings, lamb chops, chinese barbeque spare ribs… and of course, dessert had its own menu – carmelized pineapple with chocolate sabayon, black currant almond bars, lychee/mango/coconut/black currant sorbet. Thank goodness we weren’t counting calories!
